Every job follows the same five-stage discipline so your records hold up under any audit.
Receive & identify
Each instrument is logged with serial number, range, accuracy class and applicable standard.
Pre-check & environment
Temperature, humidity and reference standard validity are recorded before any measurement starts.
Calibrate against reference
Multi-point comparison against ISO 17025-traceable masters. Deviations and uncertainties captured live.
Adjust & re-verify
If out of tolerance, we adjust where allowed, then re-run the test and document both as-found and as-left states.
Certificate & sticker
You receive an ISO 17025 certificate with calibration interval, uncertainty and reference equipment used — within 5 working days.
Built for accuracy, independence & accountability.
Precision
Every measurement traceable to international standards.
Independence
Independent third-party reporting recognised by EPC majors.
Safety First
HSE-compliant operations on every job we touch.
Partnership
Single point of contact, fast response, accountable delivery.
Questions our clients ask most often.
How often should industrial instruments be calibrated in Oman?
Most pressure gauges, torque wrenches and gas detectors require annual calibration as a baseline. High-vibration, high-temperature or critical-service instruments may need 6-monthly recalibration. GCS issues ISO 17025-aligned certificates within 5 working days of testing.
Is GCS calibration ISO 17025 accredited?
Yes. GCS holds ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation for testing and calibration. All measurements are traceable to international reference standards, and every certificate carries the calibration interval, uncertainty and reference equipment used.
Can you calibrate equipment on-site or do we ship to your lab?
Both. Our Muscat and Duqm offices run a full ISO 17025 lab for in-house calibration of fixed instruments, and we operate mobile field calibration crews for on-site work across all 7 of our coverage cities in Oman.
How much does calibration cost in Oman?
Cost depends on instrument type, quantity and location. Single-instrument lab calibrations typically start from OMR 10–20 per unit, with volume discounts for fleet calibration. Request a free quote for itemised pricing.
What instruments do you calibrate?
We cover 7 calibration disciplines: pressure (gauges, transmitters, vacuum), torque (click, dial, electronic wrenches), temperature (RTDs, thermocouples, dry-block), mass & weighing (balances, weighbridges, OIML weights), dimensional (calipers, micrometers, gauge blocks), gas detectors (H2S, O2, LEL, CO, multi-gas) and tank capacity calibration (vertical, horizontal, spherical per API MPMS).
