What proof load is applied?
Typically 1.25× the SWL for appliances and up to 2× for some accessories, per the governing standard and OEM data. We confirm the correct factor and record the applied load with calibrated cells.
Is GCS a LEEA member?
Yes. GCS is a Full Member of the Lifting Equipment Engineers Association (LEEA) and operates an ISO 17020 inspection scheme — the de-facto standard for credible lifting inspection in Oman.
Can you test on-site?
Yes. We mobilise water-bag and load-cell spreads to site to test installed cranes, padeyes and structures, and run a calibrated workshop bed for loose gear.
How quickly can GCS mobilise load testing in Oman?
For routine work in Muscat, Sohar or Duqm, mobilisation is typically within 2 working days. Emergency and field jobs can be mobilised same-day, with reports issued within 5 working days.
