Corrosion prevention — protect the asset.
Integrated corrosion prevention — coating systems, condition surveys and control strategies for steel, pipelines and assets to NACE/AMPP and ISO 12944.
Extend asset life, cut whole-life cost.
Corrosion is the single biggest threat to asset integrity in Oman’s coastal and desert environment. GCS combines coating surveys, the right protective systems and a maintenance strategy to extend asset life and reduce whole-life cost.

Questions our clients ask most often.
What drives corrosion in Oman’s environment?
High humidity, airborne chlorides near the coast, UV and temperature cycling, and corrosion under insulation are the main drivers. We select coating systems for the correct ISO 12944 corrosivity category and address CUI specifically.
Can you survey existing assets and recommend a strategy?
Yes. We survey coating condition, take UT thickness and corrosion-rate data, and provide a prioritised maintenance and recoating strategy to manage corrosion cost-effectively over the asset life.
What certification do you issue?
A formal report with photographs and findings plus a Certificate of Conformity citing the specific clause references. Hard-copy and electronic certificates are available, and records are retained for audit.
How quickly can GCS mobilise a corrosion prevention programme in Oman?
For routine work in Muscat, Sohar or Duqm, mobilisation is typically within 2 working days. Emergency and field jobs can be mobilised same-day, with reports issued within 5 working days.
