API standard inspection — 510, 570 & 653.
Vessels, piping and storage tanks inspected to API 510, API 570 and API 653 by certified inspectors — the codes that govern fixed-equipment integrity in oil & gas.
Certified API inspection for fixed equipment.
API codes set the rules for in-service inspection of pressure equipment and tanks. GCS provides API 510, 570 and 653 inspection by certified inspectors, with thickness monitoring, remaining-life calculation and inspection interval setting.

Questions our clients ask most often.
Are your inspectors API-certified?
Yes. Our fixed-equipment inspectors hold the relevant API certifications (510, 570, 653) and carry out inspection, thickness monitoring and remaining-life assessment to the applicable code.
Do you set inspection intervals?
Yes. Based on measured corrosion rates and remaining life, we calculate and recommend inspection intervals in line with the API code and, where applicable, risk-based inspection (API 580/581).
What certification do you issue?
A formal report with photographs and findings plus a Certificate of Conformity citing the specific clause references. Hard-copy and electronic certificates are available, and records are retained for audit.
How quickly can GCS mobilise API standard inspection in Oman?
For routine work in Muscat, Sohar or Duqm, mobilisation is typically within 2 working days. Emergency and field jobs can be mobilised same-day, with reports issued within 5 working days.
