Tagging & colour coding — status at a glance.
Unique ID tags and quarterly colour-code systems for lifting gear and equipment, so anyone on site can see inspection status at a glance.
Make in-date vs out-of-date obvious.
A colour-code system turns compliance into something a supervisor can verify in seconds. GCS tags every asset with a unique ID and applies the current period colour, so out-of-date equipment is obvious and easy to quarantine.

Questions our clients ask most often.
How does a colour-code system work?
Each three-month period is assigned a colour. When gear passes inspection it gets the current colour. A quick glance — does the tag match this quarter’s colour? — tells anyone whether the item is in date, without checking paperwork.
Is GCS a LEEA member?
Yes. GCS is a Full Member of the Lifting Equipment Engineers Association (LEEA) — the de-facto standard for credible lifting inspection in Oman.
Can tags link to digital records?
Yes. We can apply QR or RFID tags that link directly to the asset’s inspection history and certificate in our database, so a phone scan brings up the full record.
How quickly can GCS mobilise an equipment tagging and colour-coding programme in Oman?
For routine work in Muscat, Sohar or Duqm, mobilisation is typically within 2 working days. Emergency and field jobs can be mobilised same-day, with reports issued within 5 working days.
